Designed as the ultimate finishing spray, Ride or Die Texture Spray adds instant grit, lift, and natural-looking texture to dry hair. It creates that lived-in, wind-blown effect, helping to give hair effortless, modern style. With a light-to-medium, brushable hold and a natural finish, this volumising hair spray adds body and movement without stiffness, stickiness, or weight - ideal for messy waves, undone updos, or everyday texture.

Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) – Helps keep hair feeling soft, smooth, and manageable. It adds moisture to the strands, making hair look shinier and feel healthier, while helping to reduce dryness and frizz.

Luviskol® Plus – A styling polymer that helps hair hold its texture and volume. It supports long-lasting body and shape while keeping hair soft, touchable, and easy to comb through.

It's for dry hair, to be applied from the mid-lengths to the ends. I was surprised that the ingredients seem ok. Most hair products will have ingredients that flag up strongly with cosmetic ingredient checkers, but this one scores favourably with mostly low-risk ingredients (this depends which tracker you use though!) Since the product goes on dry, it does remind me of dry shampoo (and Larry King write that it's "perfect for second (or third) day hair"! You get a nice windswept but healthy, layered look with it and the fragrance is also quite pleasant. Even though the price is a bit on the expensive side, it is a good product and depending on your hair length and thickness may last a long time too."

Never too old to have bouncy curls

"When I saw this I thought I am too old for this, the pictures of the messy hair are not me anymore. My son convinced me to stop being negative and try it. Wow I have fine hair and not a lot of it so I curl my hair in layers to give me volume but they don’t last long. Well they didn’t last long… now I am lasting all day it’s unbelievable how good this spray is. I have lots of texture spray but none work like this does! Really impressed and never too old!"

The packaging feels far more high-end than most styling sprays, and the can itself has a quality feel to it. More importantly, the spray mechanism delivers a fine, even mist rather than dumping too much product into one area, which helps achieve a much more natural finish. Performance-wise, this does exactly what a good texture spray should. It adds lift at the roots, creates separation through the lengths and gives hair that slightly undone, fuller look without making it feel crunchy. The effect sits somewhere between a dry shampoo and a lightweight hairspray, but without the drawbacks of either. Hair remains touchable and can still be restyled throughout the day. "When I saw this I thought I am too old for this, the pictures of the messy hair are not me anymore. My son convinced me to stop being negative and try it.
